How to Free a Stuck Saddle Tilt Adjustment Bolt
If your saddle tilt adjustment bolt is stuck at one end and won't turn any further, try this method:
- Insert the adjustment wrench that came with your dropper post into the tilt adjustment bolt.
- Gently tap the end of the wrench with a small hammer.
-
Make sure you tap in the correct direction:
- If the bolt is stuck at the maximum upward tilt, tap clockwise.
- If the bolt is stuck at the maximum downward tilt, tap counterclockwise.
This usually helps free the bolt so it can be adjusted normally again.
⚠️ Note: Use light taps only. Do not hit the wrench excessively hard, as this may damage the bolt or the adjustment mechanism.
